Is 402 Junk Removal free?

402 Junk Removal is a paid service. Our single, up-front price has no surprises and includes picking up your items, loading them, and any associated disposal or recycling fees. 

What is a no-obligation onsite estimate?

We base each estimate on how much space the items will take up in the truck. As a result, a team member will look at the items and provide an onsite estimate before starting the work. These estimates are free, and we only complete the job if you are comfortable with the price, so there is no pressure to proceed. 

How does 402 Junk Removal charge for junk removal?
  1. Pricing is based on how much space your items will take up in the truck. We break our 7’ x 14’ truck into 1/4, 1/2, 3/4, and full loads.
  2. We also offer single-item pricing, which is often less than our minimum charge, for a number of items such as mattresses or TVs. 
Can I get an exact price before you arrive?

Because each item is different and will take up a different amount of space in our truck, we cannot give you an exact price over the phone. A team member needs to see all of the items during a no-obligation onsite estimate before we can give you an exact price. You can receive an estimate for a single item removal over the phone, but the final price will always be given onsite. What methods of payment do you accept?

402 Junk Removal accepts cash, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and all major credit cards. Payments are safe and secure, with multiple layers of encryption. Your payment will not be processed until the job is complete. 

Should I tip the junk removal team?

Tips are neither expected nor required. However, our team members greatly appreciate them, and if you feel they did a great job, then feel free to tip any amount that you feel is right.

When should I expect you to arrive?

402 Junk Removal guarantees same-day or next-day service from the time that book. Once you book, you will be given a two-hour window of when our team will arrive. On the day of your appointment, we will send you a 15-30 minute courtesy text that we are on our way. 

How do I cancel or change my appointment?

You can change or cancel your appointment at any time. Call or text us at 402.480.6024, and we’ll be happy to help. 

Can you remove my junk if I’m not onsite?

If your items are easily accessible, a team member will be able to give you a quote over the phone, remove the items, and take your payment over the phone. However, certain situations will require the customer to be present to complete the job.

What items can 402 Junk Removal remove?

What items does 402 Junk Removal not accept?

A few items we do not accept include, but are not limited to, hazardous chemicals, asbestos, gasoline, motor oil, biohazards, and corrosive materials. If you’re not sure, don’t worry: our team is well-educated on what can and can’t be hauled away. 

Can you remove large and bulky items?

Of course! We take items big and small. We’ll be happy to haul it away if it can be lifted and loaded into the truck. 

What does 402 Junk Removal do with all the junk they remove?

We recycle what we can, donate items that are in good working order, and responsibly dispose of the rest!
